In a case involving a consumer, a travel agency and an airline which went bankrupt the Swedish Supreme Court clarified when an intermediary, such as a travel agency, can be considered party to the original contract. Moreover, it also clarified when an intermediary is to be considered as a creditor and the consumer can make use of the same objections against travel agency as to any other creditor.
