IV International Conference on "Competition and Consumer Protection" Set to Take Place in Tbilisi, Georgia
Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA) is proud to announce that the IV International Conference on Competition and Consumer Protection will take place in Tbilisi from 13 to 15 November 2025. The conference serves as a key regional platform to advance dialogue on fair competition and effective consumer protection.
The event will bring together heads of competition and consumer protection authorities from across the globe, along with representatives from regulatory bodies, public institutions, academia, the business sector and international organisations.
The three-day conference programme will include thematic sessions and three international panels, addressing pressing global and regional issues, including:

Digital Fairness in Practice: Addressing Dark Patterns and Unfair Commercial Practices
The Role of International Organisations and Cross-Border Cooperation in Consumer Protection

Regulation and Innovation: Finding the Right Balance in Competition Policy
Since its launch in 2022, this annual conference has grown into a prominent regional forum. The 2024 edition welcomed delegations from 15 countries, featured over 50 speakers, and hosted more than 300 participants, including high-level representatives from UNCTAD, OECD, the International Competition Network (ICN), EU DG COMP and EU DG JUSTICE.
