Econsumer.gov

The econsumer.gov site allows you to file complaints related to cross-border transactions and to learn about ways to resolve your disputes with foreign traders through ADR.

Based on complaints filed through econsumer.gov, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission shut down the Designer Brand Outlet website, which was offering fake designer label women's clothing. The case was triggered by complaints from consumers who received goods that did not match the items advertised. Thanks to joint efforts of consumer protection agencies from several countries it was possible to eliminate a fraudulent trader targeting consumers around the world.
